Brittany Lauman, DVM

Dr. Brittany Lauman grew up in the Portland area. She has always had a love of animals, and became interested in veterinary medicine at a young age. In 2004, she got her start in the profession as a kennel assistant. She graduated from Oregon State University in 2007 with her Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences with options in Pre-Vet and Animal Behavior. She went on to further her knowledge and training in veterinary medicine, and practiced as a Certified Veterinary Technician for five years. During this time, she met her husband, and they moved to Corvallis to pursue their passions at Oregon State University (her husband is a brewer and studied Fermentation Science). Dr. Lauman graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2016.

Dr. Lauman is a member of the Portland Veterinary Medical Association, and has been involved in the PVMA’s Power of 10 leadership group, graduating with the class of 2020, and the alumni group in 2021. Dr. Lauman has a passion for veterinary dentistry, and providing quality medicine and care to her patients. She enjoys client education and partnering with her clients to strengthen the human-animal bond, tackle complicated cases, and create lasting relationships. Dr. Lauman is Fear Free Certified

Dr. Lauman and her husband are raising their two small children not too far from where they both grew up in Oak Grove, OR. They have two dogs (Ayla and Barli), a cat (Tiki), and five chickens (named after characters from the Disney show, Bluey). She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and exploring new breweries.
