Knowing she wanted to work with animals, Brittany graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a BS in Zoology. She entered the pet retail field after graduation and managed locally owned pet stores in Madison and then Portland.

After the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, she made the switch to the veterinary field and started as a hospital assistant at a Fear Free clinic. Her great experience there motivated Brittany to enroll in the Portland Community College veterinary technology program, resulting in an intership at Brooklyn Yard Vet during her last year in school. Quickly during this internship it became clear that Brittany was already one of the team, which was made official after graduation! She is proud to be a Certified Veterinary Technician and an Elite level Fear Free certified veterinary professional.

Brittany spends her free time with her Chihuahua mix, Yoshi, roller skating, dancing, and trying new restaurants, especially sushi! Brittany enjoys the endless opportunities for learning in veterinary medicine, striving to provide the best care possible for dogs and cats.
