Dr. Bartsch was born and raised in the South, receiving both her undergraduate and doctorate degree from Auburn University in Alabama.

She spent 2 years at a busy 7-doctor practice in San Jose, CA before moving to Portland last September to work as a house call vet.

Dr. Bartsch has special interests in dermatology and allergy management, and enjoys practicing collaborative, preventative medicine for better long-term care. She is Fear Free certified and is excited to be joining a practice that respects and prioritizes a pet’s emotional well-being.

When not working, Dr. Bartsch enjoys exploring Portland’s endless food and drink options, going to concerts and shows, reading, and watching football (Auburn fan!).

She is also working towards a certificate in Spiritual Formation from Portland Seminary.
