Sarah G.
she/her
Originally from New Jersey, Sarah moved to several states before arriving in Portland during the summer of 2017. According to her parents, her love for animals began as soon as she arrived in this world. Spending all childhood summers in equine camps, her life quickly revolved around horses. While training and riding for over 20 years, her passion for science and medicine grew and created a desire to pursue the medical field. In high school, she completed veterinary-based animal science and anatomy classes, as well as served as the president of the local FFA chapter, with a focus on equine sciences. Sarah has also always, needless to say, been obsessed with dogs and has loved switching her focus to a general practice hospital setting.
Sarah is a Fear Free Certified veterinary professional and has a strong interest in animal behavior and psychology. One of her favorite aspects of working in a Fear Free clinic is seeing patients gain confidence, and to see their true personalities shine.
In her free time, Sarah is an Associate Board Member for the local dog rescue One Tail At A Time PDX. She also enjoys exploring the mountains and coastline with her Border Collie, Rambler, and listening to true crime podcasts.
